The Penha Longa in the distance
The roofs on the left belong to a convent school near my house. Belong to the Dorotheans Sisters (Saint Dorothea).
A big rock between the two araucarias - at the right side of the roof - is the Penha Longa (more or less translated by Big Rock) and belongs to a Quinta that has an hotel.
There, in XIV century, was built a convent: the Convent of Penha Longa.
Now is a golf resort.
Look at that sky, isn't that wonderful?

The Park
A park in town in a sunny day.
It's called Parque da Liberdade, "Freedom Park", which is rather silly. It belongs to the Palácio Valenças, the Valenças Palace.
This is a corner down in the park, near the street. It's quite big and has, above its top, another street, so one can go inside the park in three places and chooses to walk down or up.

The National Palace
The National Palace with the characteristic chemneys.
You can also read about it here.
The fog is quite common in Sintra which gives a certain air of magic to the place.
