The end of the day

The end of the day

Heavy sky. Looks like it will rain. That's ok, it's time to rain.

For Sky Watch Friday.

The ladder of Jacob

The ladder of Jacob?

Don't the clouds in the bottom look like angel's wings and the ones in the middle look like steps?

And he saw in his sleep a ladder standing upon the earth, and the top thereof touching heaven: the angels also of God ascending and descending by it.
Genesis, 28: 12

Big cloud

What is this?

A big cloud I saw in the sky of Sintra some time ago. It was the sunset.

The Penha Longa in the distance

The Penha Longa - in the distance

The roofs on the left belong to a convent school near my house. Belong to the Dorotheans Sisters (Saint Dorothea).
A big rock between the two araucarias - at the right side of the roof - is the Penha Longa (more or less translated by Big Rock) and belongs to a Quinta that has an hotel.
There, in XIV century, was built a convent: the Convent of Penha Longa.
Now is a golf resort.

Look at that sky, isn't that wonderful?
