Sintra is full of trees everywhere.

PS: In this moment, 8.55 AM, it's raining in Sintra which for me is always an happy thing. What is funny is accuweather saying that we have clouds and sun and doesn't say anything about rain!
Some days ago we had an apocalyptic thunder and tropical rain and accuweather was saying that we were having sun!

On a day of rain and thunder.

The fog

Sintra is a place where we have fog quite often. Not today. It's still hot.
I long for Autumn and cooler days.

Cinderela palace

The "Casa dos Penedos" or the Penedos's House, was designed by the architect Raul Lino and built in 1922.
A penedo is a big rock.
So beautiful and in the middle of all that greenery, we could imagine that Cinderela palace was a bit like that.

A day in the mist

Sintra is a place where there is fog quite often. This, added to the romantic architecture, gives to the place a special mistic - and misty - look.
